‘I was only trying to stop her killing herself’

A boyfriend accused of attacking his lover insisted he was only trying to stop her last unsuccessful suicide attempt. Alessio Bianchi, 26, grabbed his victim Damilya Jossipalenya by the throat and punched her several times after arguing with her, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.
