A couple who stole thousands of pounds from elderly bus passengers were locked up for more than two years. Stephen Ricketts, 53, used his rucksack to shield his hands while removing a purse and its contents from a 74-year-old woman’s handbag in Deptford, southeast London, last 9 November.
