Leading heart surgeon accused of sex attacks

One of the UK’s leading heart surgeons appeared in court today (weds) accused of sex offences  carried out as he worked for a top transplant centre and a world-renowned BUPA hospital. Mohamed Amrani, 53, allegedly groped woman at BUPA’s Cromwell Hospital on Cromwell Road, in south Kensington, in May 2014. According to charges, the consultant surgeon had by then committed ten other sexual offences against at least three other women between 2001-2014.
