Nurse struck off for tax credit fraud

A fugitive nurse who defrauded the taxpayer of more than £30,000 by simultaneously claiming child and working tax credits through Nigerian and Sierra Leonean identities has been struck off. Monsurat Olajide, who worked for the East London NHS Foundation Trust, claimed £33,608.50 in benefits with two separate national insurance numbers at the same time.
