A prostitute was subjected to a series of ‘horrifying’
rape attacks by a trio of young sex beasts in the space of
24 hours, a court heard.
During her final ordeal the 33-year-old mother of three
was forced to submit to the perverted demands of Sayed Abbas,
23, and his alleged accomplice, Martin Malik, 20, whilst her
two little daughters were in a nearby room.
Snaresbrook Crown Court heard how during the Summer last
year the victim had been soliciting for clients in Lordship
Road, Stamford Hill when she was picked up by Abbas and Martin
Malik’s cousin Adnan Malik, who was then only 16.
Mr Richard Horwell, prosecuting, told the jury that
jobless Abbas and the Adnan Malik have both pleaded guilty to
charges of kidnap, rape, indecent assault, robbery, committing
unnatural acts with the woman (buggery) and firearm offences
between July 17 and the early hours of July 18 last year.
Abbas, of Katherine Road, and Adnan Malik, now 17, of
Spencer Road, both East Ham, will be sentenced later.
But unemployed Martin Malik, of Abbotts Road, East Ham,
has pleaded not guilty to a charge of rape, one of committing
an unnatural act and one of indecent assault.
The jury were told that in the early hours of July 17 the
victim got into Abbas’s dark Nissan motorcar ‘on the promise of
pnds stlg 20 for sexual intercourse.
‘
Unbeknown to her Adnan Malik was hiding in the car boot.
Giving evidence she said that she was driven to a dark
alleyway in Stoke Newington where Abbas took a gun ‘he described
as a pump action shotgun’ from the inside pocket of his car door
and demanded her money:
‘He said he’d blow my f*****g brains out.
I was horrified
and thought I was going to die.
‘
The brunette told the jury that Adnan Malik jumped out of
the boot with a knife and at gunpoint she was ordered to undress
by Abbas.
Mr Horwell continued: ‘What followed over the next 24 hours
or so was a series of violent sexual assaults and indignations
carried out by these three defendants.
‘
Counsel said that in the first ‘stage’ in the deserted
alleyway Miss X had to perform oral sex with Abbas and the youngest
Malik in turn, before she was raped and forced to submit to
unnatural acts by the pair.
The court heard that she was then shoved in the car boot
and told to give directions to her flat in Woodford Green,
Essex, where the sex attack by the two continued.
Counsel said there was ‘no dispute’ that the crimes involving
Abbas and Adnan Malik with the victim in the alleyway and at her
flat took place.
The jury were told that she was ‘not the first woman and
no doubt will not be the last’ to decide that it was not worth
complaining to police at that stage.
But later on the evening of July 17 the Crown allege that
Abbas, armed with a knife and Martin Malik – his hair then in
a pony-tail – returned to her flat.
Unlike the first visit to her home when she was alone, now
her daughters – then aged 11 and three – were in the address.
Although she complained, the pair came in and she was told
to move the girls from her bedroom so they could go in there
with her, the court was told.
Counsel said that Abbas forced the tearful woman to perform
a variety of sex acts while he was alone with her and then Martin
Malik, it is alleged, forced her to have oral sex with him.
The Crown claim that they then subjected her to a two hour
ordeal of rape and unnatural acts.
The jury were told that the accused had been smoking cannabis
and drinking lager.
‘They were laughing at times during this incident and spoke
to each other in a foreign accent.
Afterwards she was told to make
them something to eat,’ said Mr Horwell.
Abbas and Martin Malik had a discussion about Miss X working
for them as a prostitute.
Their proposal was for her to get fifty
percent of her earnings for ‘100 percent protection.
‘
The pair left the flat at about 4.
30am on July 18 but Abbas
made the mistake of saying he would be back at 7pm.
Miss X called police and later that afternoon they kept her
flat under observation.
Abbas and Martin Malik arrived at 5pm in the Nissan and were
arrested by armed police.
Hidden in the loft at Abbas’s home detectives went on to find
the sawn-off shotgun he had used to terrorise the woman.
Martin Malik’s younger cousin was arrested on the evening
of July 18.
The court heard that a doctor’s examination of the victim
produced findings ‘entirely consistent’ with the asaults she had
described.
The trial of Martin Malik continues.
