Jail for Sikhs who smuggled Afghan asylum seekers into the UK

  Three Sikhs who smuggled nearly 70 Afghan asylum seekers into the UK in a scam rumbled by easyJet staff have been jailed for a total of 19 years. Daljit Kapoor, 41, cousin Harmit Kapoor, 42, and Davinder Chawla, 44, provided passports belonging to British Sikhs to help lookalikes into the country between May and June 2014.
