A career criminal who abseiled through a theatre skylight to steal 32 bottles of champagne has been jailed for 20 months. Terence Carroll, 50, was able to lower himself into the New London Theatre – now the Gillian Lynne Theatre – on Drury Lane near his home in the West End. The theatre was shut when he abeiled through the skylight to steal 32 bottles of champagne worth £2,400 at 6am on January 11. Carroll was caught on CCTV outside…
