Jail for ranting hoaxer

A hoax caller who repeatedly dialled 999 claiming there was a gunman was on his mother’s doorstep has been jailed for a month. Leon Khan, 34, hounded Kensington police from a public telephone box for more than eight hours between 9 April and 16 April last year. He bombarded the force with 63 calls in the space of a week alleging there was a gunman outside his mother’s house. Khan urged police to arrest him so he could be interviewed…
