Sainsbury’s cashier ‘fleeced supermarket out of £18,000’

A Sainsbury’s cashier fleeced her employer out of £18,000 while working at the till, a court heard. Taylor-Ray Walker, 20, allegedly transferred the supermarket’s cash onto gift cards during the week-long scheme between 6 to 14 October 2018. Prosecutors claim the sales assistant worked together with four others who posed as customers. Walker allegedly loaded payments of £500 onto the cards, but on one occasion an accomplice received one containing £8,000, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard. She was caught on CCTV…
