Accounts manager cleared of VAT evasion

An accounts manager has been cleared of helping her boss scam the taxpayer out of more than £400,000 in VAT. Susan Kerr, 56, claimed she was just acting under the instructions of her boss, Eclipse Sat Ltd company director Mashallah Ali.
