Accused Ethiopian terrorist claims he was fighting torture

A university lecturer accused of flying out to an Ethiopian terrorist training camp has defended his role in an anti-government Ethiopian resistance. Tadesse Kersmo, 51, said his organisation Patriotic Ginbot 7 had a duty to help his people battle against torture and repression.
