Accused mobility scooter killer Lee Byer remanded

An alleged knifeman accused of stabbing 87-year-old Thomas O’Halloran to death on his mobility scooter  has been remanded in custody. Lee Byer, 44, is said to have fatally stabbed Mr O’Halloran in the neck and chest in Greenford, west London, at 4.06pm last week on 16 August. The grandfather, originally from Co Clare, Ireland, has been described as an ’87-year-old grandfather known locally in the community’.
