Accused scissor killer goes on trial

A Romanian man accused of accused of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend to death with a pair of scissors appeared at the Old Bailey today (mon) on the first day of his trial. Ioan Campeanu, 43, is said to have attacked 28-year-old Andrea Hilitanu in the bathroom of their home in Neasden, northwest London, in the early hours of June 1.
