Algerian asylum seeker stole bandsman’s clarinets
An Algerian asylum seeker stole two clarinets worth almost £7,000 from a member of the Coldstream Guards band while the musician was out drinking with friends, a court heard. Ali Tarafi, 26, swiped the instruments from Paul Smith at the Adam and Eve pub in Petty France, central London on 17 April 2024.
