Accused killer in court over shooting of Romanian

  An alleged killer has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Romanian man who was blasted with a shotgun just days after he arrived in the UK. Sufyan Elbakali, 22, will be tried alongside Hanad Mohammed, 18, for the killing of 28-year-old Ionut Lazar on 22 October last year.
