Alleged wife killer denies murder

A husband accused of strangling his estranged wife to death has denied murder. Martin Cavanagh, 35, is said to have throttled 31-year-old Sophie Cavanagh at her Bromley flat. Ms Cavanagh’s dead body was discovered in the bedroom on 20 May this year with a pathologist’s report later indicating that the cause of death was strangling.
