Anaesthetist gassed himself

An anaesthetic assistant who took so much gas he fell asleep and failed to respond to an emergency call has been struck off. Kelvin Fletcher dozed off during a night shift and did not wake up when the on-call telephone started ringing beside his head at Yeovil District Hospital in Somerset.
