Ban for teacher who ran school of Islam

A teacher who ran an unregistered Islamic school which had no running water in the toilets has been banned from the classroom. Naveed Hussain, 39, was head of Bordesley Independent School in Birmingham, where pupils were taught in cold and unhygienic rooms. Inspectors found leaflets at the school titled “Islam and terrorism?”, written by someone who ‘had been found to have been denied access to the UK due to his extremist views’.
