Bar worker will deny Ecclestone raid

A Romanian bar worker will deny his involvement in the £50 million jewellery and cash raid on heiress Tamara Ecclestone’s home, a court heard. Emil-Bogdan Savastru, 29, and cleaner Maria Mester, 47, are charged with plotting to burgle Miss Ecclestone’s £70m mansion in Palace Green, Kensington, on December 13.
