Benefit fraudster used her daughter’s name to get loans

A woman who stole her daughter’s identity to take out fraudulent loans from mail order companies has been spared jail. Dolores Law, 45, ran the scam using Marisha Low’s name and address between November 2019 and October 2020. She took out loans totalling £2,744 from the companies Next Directory, New Day AO, Grattan PLC and Studio Retail, Southwark Crown Court heard.
