Bishopsgate hero needed 52 stitches

A commuter was slashed across the face and left needing 52 stitches after he tried to stop phone muggers in Bishopsgate during the morning rush-hour, a court heard. Louis Parkinson, 25, was arrested yesterday as City of London police investigated the knife attacks in the City of London just yards from Liverpool Street Station last Thursday (6).
