Boris beats ‘nonsense’ prosecution
Lawyers for Boris Johnson dismissed as ‘nonsense’ the private prosecution of the Tory leadership favourite. Adrian Darbishire, QC, told the High Court that campaigner Marcus Ball had attempted to ‘shoehorn’ Johnson’s successful Brexit campaign into an accusation of misconduct in a public office.
