Burglar left 80-year-old woman with head injury

A burglar who pushed an elderly lady to the ground as he made off with her jewellery has been jailed for 32 months. Kyle Thatcher, 30, carried out a spree of raids in the villages of Staple and River near Dover in Kent, between 9 and 20 April this year.
