Bus driver denies killing pensioner by careless driving

A bus driver who hit and killed an 83-year-old woman has denied causing death by careless driving. Ozdemir Zia, 75, knocked down Edna McClean on Vincent Road outside Woolwich Arsenal Station. She was taken to hospital by air ambulance but died two days later on 13 September. Pictures from the scene showed a raincoat, a pair of running shoes and a coat in front of the bus.
