Businessman prosecutes Boris Johnson

A businessman is privately prosecuting Boris Johnson for misconduct in a public office before the Brexit referendum. Marcus Ball alleges the 54-year-old Tory MP used his position in Parliament as then Mayor of London to intentionally mislead the public about the cost of European Union membership. Mr Ball founded the Brexit Justice group and raised more than £370,000 in crowdfunding to build the case. The private prosecution accuses the former Foreign Secretary of misconduct while in office.
