Cabbie claims he indicated before death U-turn

A London taxi driver accused of killing a hair salon manager when he performed a U-turn insisted he did indicate before he started the manoeuvre. Claire Berretti, 45, was riding pillion on a red Ducati motorcycle at 40mph when it crashed into the silver cab driven by Jerome Lee, 72, in Clerkenwell, central London.
