Channel bag ‘nickers’ in court

  Two alleged shoplifters accused of swiping nearly £13,000 worth of Chanel handbags have appeared in court. Albert Holloway, 24, and Lauren Syme, 22, allegedly pinched four designer bags from the French brand’s shop in New Bond Street, Mayfair, on 14 July. The pair grabbed the luxury goods, worth a total of £12,910, and made off from the store within minutes, it is said. They denied theft when they appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
