Chicken Run drug smuggler caged

A drug smuggler who helped import vast quantities of MDMA into the UK inside shipments of frozen chicken was jailed for 16 and a half years today (mon). Gordon Ruckledge, 45, played a major role in a family-run business which imported 90kg of the Class A drug from the Netherlands. He was caught with 1,000 ecstasy tablets, a kilo of high purity cocaine and 2,000 pills labelled as temazepam and tramadol at his home in Taunton Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester….
