Codeine drinking nurse is struck off

A paediatric nurse who stole codeine from a children’s hospital ward has been struck off. Laura Catherine Cooper put up to 100 patients – ranging from newborn babies to 18-year-olds – in harm’s way by tampering with the supply of the liquid drug over the course of a year.
