Comrade of Kurds denies terror offences

A British man who fought alongside Kurdish forces in Iraq and Syria against ISIS has denied terrorism offences. Aiden James, 27, travelled to the Middle East in August 2017 to fight for the People’s Protection Units militia (YPG). The father of one, from Lancashire, was married there to a woman he met when the YPG liberated a village under ISIS control.
