Convicted terrorist jailed over Turkey travel plans

A convicted terrorist was jailed for 20 months today (Fri) for failing to tell police he planned to travel to Turkey. Ishaaq Hussain, 24, was first locked up after he was convicted in July 2012 of attending a terrorist training camp in Pakistan. He was part of a larger group of Birmingham extremists, whose leaders plotted an attack to rival the 7 July and 9/11 atrocities.
