Cop murder bid trial put off indefinitely

A BMW driver accused of mowing down a police officer following a shooting had his trial postponed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Aydin Altun, 26, is accused of firing a self-loading pistol near White Hart Lane, Tottenham, north London, on 28 October last year. When officers attended the scene Altun allegedly tried to escape by driving his black BMW at PC Lewis Crowder.
