A couple who defrauded the taxpayer out of £63,000 by inflating translation costs for legal aid documents are facing jail. Solicitor Babita Attra, 41, made sure her boyfriend Alexandru Major, 35, won lucrative translation contracts as part of the cheat on the Legal Aid Authority (LAA).
