Crown court trial for ‘pigeon planting’ sweeps

Two chimney sweeps accused of planting dead pigeons in people’s homes then ‘grossly’ overcharging them for their services are facing a crown court trial. Martin Price, 59, and son Luke Price, 33, told customers they had to fit chimney cowls to stop birds nesting and charged them sky-high fees, it is claimed.
