Disabled man ‘mugged as he used cashpoint machine’

Three men mugged a disabled man with the mental age of seven as he used a cashpoint machine, a court heard. Daniel Newman, 33, appeared via videolink at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court accused of the ‘particularly nasty’ robbery of Alan Lynch in Sandling Rise, Eltham, on April 16.
