Driver denies hit and run killing
A motorist accused of killing a French woman in a ‘hit and run’ denied causing her death by dangerous driving. Aaron Blackwood-Jones, 31, was allegedly driving a VW Golf which hit Celia Ines Betrouni, 24, on Brixton Hill, south London on 12 January this year. Emergency services including an air ambulance rushed to the scene but despite the best efforts of medics Ms Betrouni died at the scene.
