Ex gang member fights extradition because of Irish prison overcrowding
A former gang member accused of a serious assault on a 14 year old girl may escape extradition because of overcrowding in Irish jails. Ian Hanley, 55, allegedly attacked the teenager in November 2008 when he was living in Dublin. The victim informed Irish police of the alleged rape in 2018.
