Finance boss nicked £30k from kiddies company

A finance supervisor who plundered more than £30,000 from a company proving specialist care for children is facing jail. Steven Woodford, 42, used his position as payroll supervisor at Cambrian Group to pilfer colleague’s cash for over a year. Woodford paid himself 27 different payments meant for employees who had recently left the company. In total Woodford stole £32,645 during the fraud between March 2017 and August this year.
