Financial chief accused of over Ashes DVD box sets

A financial director for a company whose DVDs rights clients include the BBC and Warner Brothers is to stand trial for ordering too many box sets of The Ashes. Vincent Leahy, 52, allegedly abused his position at Simply Media Ltd by ordering a surplus of DVDs of the epic England v Australia cricket series from 2005. The purchases are said to have happened in April or May 2009 and Leahy is alleged to have acted for his own financial gain….
