Five years jail for perverted spiritual leader

A perverted spiritual leader who sexually assaulted boys to ‘cleanse’ them has been jailed for five years. Edilson Do Nascimento, 51, used his role as a healer in the Afro-Brazilian religion, Candomblé, to abuse two teenage boys. Candomblé is an oral tradition with no sacred scriptures.
