A research chemist at the forefront of Covid-19 testing has been spared jail for drunkenly stroking a woman’s bare leg with his foot on a plane. Amerjit Singh Cheema, 43, met the 25-year-old woman at Mumbai on 22 January this year before a flight to Heathrow.
