Football star scores at the High Court

England football legend Alan Shearer won a multi-million pound settlement for receiving ‘negligent’ financial advice. Shearer, now a pundit on Match of the Day, and his wife Lainya, were due to launch a £9million damages lawsuit relating to pension investments. The former Southampton, Blackburn and Newcastle forward, 46, was suing financial adviser Kevin Neal and pension specialist Suffolk Life.
