Former footballer’s fraud trial delayed for 11 months

A former Premier League player accused of carrying out a £2.5m investment fraud must wait nearly a year to stand trial. Ex-Charlton Athletic defender, Richard Rufus, 46, allegedly enticed investors into an enormous foreign currency scam, between May 2007 and April 2012.
