Former verger to Queen gets 16 years for abusing boys

A former verger to the late Queen was jailed for 16 years today (thurs) for sexually abusing two schoolboys and dubbed a ‘vile predator’ by police. Clive McCleester, 77, who served at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle and supervised visitors to the Queen Mother’s tomb, carried out 10 sexual offences dating back 55 years.
