Fraudsters ripped off bank customers at branches across the country

Three fraudsters who toured Britain impersonating their victims in a £250,000 scam are facing jail. Julian Mabbutt, 49, Nathan Wadsworth, 33, and Michael Curtis, 56, were caught after a bemused bank manager noticed them pretending to be clients at his branch two weeks running. Mabbutt, who is in jail for similar offences, admitted fraud today (Fri) at Inner London Crown Court. He will be sentenced in April along with his co-defendants, who had already admitted the offence.
