Fugitive killer faces life sentence for savage murder

A killer who became one of the world’s most wanted men after he slit a council worker’s throat in an ‘act of pitiless savagery’ is facing a life sentence. Shane O’Brien, 31, slashed Josh Hanson’s neck as he drank with a small group including his girlfriend at the RE Bar, in Hillingdon, west London, in October 2015.
