A retired oil engineer who stabbed a trainee surveyor in a row outside a Shell garage in 2003 has been spared jail for manslaughter after his victim died 14 years later. Alexander Lloyd was left with irreversible brain damage and paralysis after the incident on 4 September 2003 at a Shell garage on Hills Road, Cambridge, and died in 2017.
