Girl ‘beaten to ground with pole’

A teenager beat a younger girl to the ground with a pole, a court heard. Awatf Souaf, 19, allegedly threatened the 17-year-old and assaulted her in Westminster, central London, on June 17. Souaf had screamed abuse at the 17-year-old while she loaded a removal van with her sister as they prepared to move, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.
