Girlfriend killer in court

A spurned Romanian accused of slitting his ex girlfriend’s throat in the street after she rejected him has appeared in court. Genu Armenu, 45, allegedly slashed Elizabeta Lacatusu, 44, opposite a nursery school in Norfolk Road, Seven Kings, Ilford on 3 January this year. Armenu begged fellow Romanian Ms Lacatusu to take him back, but took her rejection badly and stabbed her to death, it is claimed.
