Hacker caused bank chaos because he wanted to be a ‘clever dick’

An IT worker who hacked into a bank’s computer network claimed he was just being a ‘clever dick’, a court heard. Ashley Crispin, 23, attacked the systems at the British Business Bank, also known as the Start Up Loans Company. He wreaked havoc by causing windows to pop up and prevent staff from being able to work between 10 and 18 April last year.
